Fairpicture: Marketing, Comms & Sales Strategy Lead

Starting from a blank Miro board, I developed and wrote an automated email and phone sales and customer service journey for Fairpicture, a young agency specialized in sourcing ethically produced visual content from the Global South.

Additionally, I created, managed, and wrote for the company’s content calendar, and established the internal language guidelines in collaboration with one of the organizations consultants.

Working with Alex, I quickly understood the difference between people who write at work and people who are professional writers. Alex has the sense of what lies behind language - and how to use the written word to come closer to the outcome we want to achieve.

In addition to developing the content for all the sales emails, I also managed the documentation for the team to ensure our strategy was accessible and agile.

Some brands work with us because of their 360 economic impact strategy. Axxent Masters in Tea is one of those companies. From production, to processing and packaging, their Tea of Life is produced in Sri Lanka to further invest in the local economy.

Working with local photographers and videographers was a natural extension of this approach, which led them to Fairpicture and Ruvin, the visual creator for this production. From Dammika's fields to Kanchana's lab and Priyankara's printing press, we're seeing a local supply chain fully synced because of one brand's conscious choice - made from the other side of the world.

What choices are you making?
